MONTRÉAL, September 03, 2024 – Sherweb, a global cloud marketplace leader, is pleased to announce it has raised $33,600 CAD for children with cancer through its partnership with Leucan, a charity organization based in Quebec.
With the target of $15,000 CAD exceeded, the funds raised will contribute to the recovery and well-being of children with cancer and their families. Leucan offers activities to break the isolation, wigs to help with hair loss, comfort kits, adaptation services and much more to those who need it most.
This year’s fundraising activities included a bootcamp at Mont Hatley to conclude the fundraising events, preceded by restaurant promotions in the Eastern Townships, a pieing event at the Sherbrooke office as well as a pizza party for Sherweb employees.
“Each year, Sherweb matches all donations received to double the impact of every contribution,” said Sarah Malo, Event Strategist at Sherweb. “With the matching this year, we were able to raise a total of $33,600 CAD. This brings the amount raised for Leucan since we started this initiative in 2017 to $217,119 CAD! We’re proud to be helping such an important cause and look forward to continuing this annual tradition at Sherweb.”
