Bridge to the Cloud Promotion details
If you have customers with current Enhancement Plan, great! This promotion could certainly be of interest to them. Developed with partner feedback, Microsoft designed this new offer to assist customers with their migration plan to start act on it.
Applicable customers can take advantage of monthly subscription billing instead of upfront yearly costs. These customers will also receive a 60% discount on Business Central licenses if they renew their Enhancement Plan (EP) through the CSP program at an annual price point greater than or equal to their current EP renewal amount. Your customers will also be able to activate their Dual Use Rights allows customers the option to deploy the server software either in Microsoft’s cloud or in a private on-premises or partner-hosted cloud.

Bridge to the Cloud promotion eligibility
The benefits of this offer are clear, however there is a caveat regarding who’s eligible to take advantage. Customers can enroll in the mid-term, however customers will not be granted a credit for any overlapping period between their promotion enrolment and EP expiration. This promo is not available for customers who licensed their on-premises product after July 1, 2021 for: Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics NAV, Dynamics DP and Dynamics SL.
Additionally, with regards to providers, you can’t wait until the last minute to have this conversation with customers coming up on renewal dates—the offer is only redeemable within 30 days of their scheduled plan renewal! Make sure you mark your calendar to follow up with customers at least two to three months in advance of their renewal date. The migration promotion runs until June 30, 2022.
Important policies to note for this promotion include:
- One-Way Path: Once a customer adopts the promotion they transact on CSP moving forward (DPL EP renewals are no longer an option)
- Long Term Commitment: Extend the promo through FY22 with a three-year renewal option (4 total years)
- Promotion term is minimum one year with a three-year renewal option (maximum term of 4 years)
- Customers who enroll in the promo will not have the option to re-enroll in EP
