Sherweb launched a partnership with Bam Boom Cloud—a leading Microsoft Global Dynamics 365 partner—to offer Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation services to help partners maximize their success in the cloud business applications market. We spoke with Robert Pope, Chief Commercial Officer at Bam Boom Cloud about how their services help managed service providers (MSPs) move into the Dynamics space.

What is Bam Boom Cloud?
We’re a Microsoft-focused partner specializing in Dynamics 365 Business Central, which we offer through a partner-to-partner model specifically aimed at helping non-Dynamics partners position and sell Business Central to SMB customers. We deliver fixed price, fixed outcome packs that can be easily sold alongside a managed service.
As part of Microsoft’s inner circle, our big focus is to support and enable partners to move to the Dynamics world. The fixed price, fixed outcome approach means that our motivation is in line with the end customer. They understand what they’re getting, how much it’s going to cost and what it’s going to do. They’re not buying into an open-ended professional services engagement, wherein the traditional partner’s aim is to try and sell as many days’ worth of professional services as possible.
How did you get started?
We were originally born from a firm of accountants 171 years ago. We changed our name this year, when we bought the business out from Cooper Parry, our parent company. It’s exactly the same team, but now we’re using the knowledge we’ve built to deliver technology solutions based around minimum viable product best practices.
What’s your elevator pitch?
We make the very best Microsoft cloud technology simple to implement, effective and accessible to SMB organizations so they can innovate and transform. Bam Boom Cloud disrupts traditional professional services by offering low cost, fixed price, fixed scope technology solutions specifically designed for SMBs. We offer fixed price products for all three Microsoft clouds, wrapped with managed services and sold directly to customers or through our network of global partners.
Why should MSPs offer Dynamics 365 Business Central?
Business Central as a platform is Microsoft’s SMB-focused accounting and finance solution. It’s a real step forward in functionality and what it can enable for an end customer, mainly because it’s completely embedded in Microsoft 365. Many actions can be taken within Outlook and Teams, where most people spend their days. It’s also heavily embedded into other tools like Power BI and provides a one-stop-shop for business applications and modern workplace platform, all delivered from Microsoft’s highly secure cloud.
What are the benefits of fixed-price, fixed-outcome solutions?
Broadly speaking, it makes it very easy to sell the solution, because the end customer can understand what they need to buy very quickly. They self-select whether it’s something they’re interested in or not. You’re not having the traditional conversation you’d normally have with Dynamics 365, where the customer says ‘How much is it going to cost? How long is it going to take?’ And the provider says, ‘No idea. We’ll do a scoping exercise. It’ll take us a couple of days, then we’ll give you a quote.’
With Bam Boom Cloud, it’s all fixed price, generally about 40% of the cost of doing a traditional Business Central deployment. Everything’s included: training, configuration, setup, etc. We also offer support services, which run alongside the license or subscription the customer buys.
What opportunities does Bam Boom Cloud represent for MSPs and resellers?
We make it easy for managed service providers (MSPs) and other resellers to have a business conversation with their customers as opposed to an IT-focused conversation, which allows them to add more value to their relationship. We know that Dynamics greatly increases solution stickiness and reduces customer churn. So, adding Dynamics 365 to an MPS’s portfolio helps drive workloads and adds a revenue stream that’s highly valuable to them.
What inspired Bam Boom Cloud to get involved with the MSP channel via Sherweb?
Originally from the UK, Bam Boom Cloud is relatively new to North American markets. As a fellow Microsoft partner with a presence in Canada and the US, Sherweb is a great fit when it comes to working together to deliver value for MSPs. Our joint ecosystem of SMB partners can benefit from one another’s services, particularly with respect to delivering Dynamics 365 and Business Central.
