Peter Cassar
Co-Founder, President and CEO
As SherWeb’s founding President and CEO, Peter Cassar was able to grow the company from a small basement operation to a market leader with thousands of customers in over 80 countries. At SherWeb, he oversees day-to-day operations and continuously makes sure customer’s interests are the main concern at every level of the company.
A life-long entrepreneur, Peter has been involved in the information technology sector for over 12 years. His extensive knowledge and experience is culled from his years of experience working in both private and public sector of computer industries.
Peter has been a featured speaker at several entrepreneurial and business forums at various academic institutions. His other interests include soccer, skiing and he is a passionate wine enthusiast who will occasionally enjoy a fine Cuban cigar.

Matthew Cassar
Co-Founder, Executive Vice President
Matthew Cassar co-founded SherWeb in 1998 strongly believing the Internet would play a key role in how businesses and professionals communicate information. Almost 10 years later, he still sees the Internet as a revolutionizing medium that will replace traditional enterprise software technology with on-demand software offered as a service. As Executive Vice President, he provides the dynamism and vision that has helped position SherWeb as a market leader in both Web hosting and Hosted Exchange.
In addition to working at SherWeb, Matthew is currently completing both a law degree (LL.B.) and an MBA at the University of Sherbrooke. Besides information technology, Matthew’s interests include the financial markets and political history. He also enjoys hiking, biking and squash.

Jean Caron
Director, Technical Operations
Jean Caron joined SherWeb in 2000 and has played a major role in the growth of the company ever since. As director of technical operations, Jean oversees all information technology and support services. No matter how complex and challenging a task is, Jean will get the job done well and promptly. He is a result oriented individual with vast knowledge and expertise in working with both Microsoft and Linux environments.
Jean graduated with an electrical engineering degree from the Cegep of Sherbrooke and is also a Microsoft certified professional. He is deeply passionate about information technology and he is an avid reader of science fiction.

Nicole Blaquière
Financial Operations
Nicole Blaquière oversees SherWeb’s day-to-day financial operations and she is responsible for all of the company’s accounting and corporate finance functions. Nicole is a hard-working focused individual who will always strive to attain perfection in her work. Nicole has over 14 years of experience in accounting and business operations in a wide range of organizations.
Apart from being a devoted wife and mother, in her free time, Nicole likes to pursue another passion: watercolor painting.

Pierre-Olivier Descoteaux
Director, Marketing and Sales
As the marketing and sales director Pierre-Olivier Descoteaux is directly responsible for SherWeb’s worldwide revenue generation efforts as well as the day-to-day operations of the global marketing operations which include corporate marketing and product marketing. His drive, passion and hard work ethics for the business is strongly felt inside and outside the company. He is constantly trying to find new and interesting ways to stand out and break current boundaries within the industry. Pierre also plays a significant role in the company’s messaging and applications strategy.
Prior to joining SherWeb, Pierre worked for Kraft Canada as a product manager. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in marketing from McGill University where he graduated with distinction. In his spare time, Pierre enjoys a good work-out, reading business magazines, going to the movies and playing different sports.

Thibaut Nguyen
Product Development and Design
Thibaut Nguyen supervises the team responsible for the development, improvement and customer acceptance of SherWeb’s products and services. Among many tasks, he is responsible for all control panel development and also oversees Web site designing. Since joining SherWeb in 2005, Thibaut has worked successfully on a number of technological projects and he has always made customer satisfaction and experience improvement his top concern.
Prior to SherWeb, Thibaut worked as an information systems analyst at the University of Liege in Belgium where he led the functional analysis and development of a Web collaborative platform.
Thibaut holds an MS in Management and Information Technology from HEC business school as well as a BS in sociology from the University of Liege.
